Tournament Rulebook

Official rules, regulations, and formats governing all Local Padel Tour events. All players and teams are expected to comply in full.

01Match Attendance

Teams must be present and ready to play at their scheduled match time.
A team that arrives more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time will forfeit the match by walkover.
Players are responsible for arriving on time for their matches.

02Warm-Up

Players are entitled to a maximum of 15 minutes of warm-up before their first match of the day.
For any subsequent matches played on the same day, players are entitled to a maximum of 5 minutes of warm-up.

03Match Format

Group Stage matches will be played as one long set.
Knockout Stage matches will be played as best-of-three sets.

04Deciding Set Format

In the Round of 16 and Quarterfinals, the final set will be played as a Super Tie-Break.
Semifinals and Finals will be played as one long set.

05Scoring System

All matches will use the Golden Point system.
At deuce, a deciding point will be played after two deuces.

06Group Standings & Tiebreakers

Group standings are determined by match points (3 points for a win, 0 for a loss).
For groups of 4 teams: if teams are tied on points, the primary tiebreaker is the head-to-head match winner.
For groups of exactly 3 teams: if teams are tied on points, the primary tiebreaker is the Game Difference (GD). If the Game Difference is also equal, it will be resolved by a random toss.

07Match Schedule

The official draw and order of play will be published on the tournament website.
The assigned court and match time for each match will be displayed in the official order of play.
Players are responsible for checking the website regularly for updates to schedules and court assignments.
The tournament reserves the right to modify match schedules due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.

08Conduct & Disputes

Unsportsmanlike conduct may result in penalties or disqualification.
The Tournament Director's decision is final in all disputes.

09Rule Updates

We may update these rules from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the bottom of this page and, where changes are significant, notify you via an in-website banner.
Continued use of LPT after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated rules.
